“best for business or pleasure”
Just returned from a 3 day business meeting at the Saratoga Arms and I can’t say enough. The rooms are spacious, soft goods in the luxury lines and I loved being able to open the screened window. This 3 story, small hotel, has an elevator but after sitting in meetings the 2 sets of stairs were a welcome sight plus the work out room with TV, also chilled Vermont water kept me alert. I only wish I had time to take advantage of the massage and facial rooms- next time. We had a buffet breakfast each morning, in the very large conference room ,that provided something for everyone. Really good choices from healthy to indulgences. I might add, all the offerings were home made except for the bagels. A real change from the usual meeting fare of over processed pastries and canned orange juice and lack of protein or fresh fruit. Another high light was the wonderful front porch. Some of us had coffee there before breakfast in the morning and most sat there with wine in the late afternoon-early evening. I believe the owners Amy and Kathleen can handle anything with grace and good humor. The location is in town so walking to dinner, shops is an easy do.
